There is long list of hobbies that Uncle Steve, that's me, enjoys.  As the website grows I will add more information about some of the hobbies I like the most and even give you a bit of history.

One of the main questions I get asked is how I started making balloon animals.  So here is my story.  I began helping out with the entertainment at my company's annual BBQ and each year I wanted to introduce a new idea for the kids.  Back in 1991, I was on vacation in New Orleans with my family.  We were walking though the store where someone was making balloon animals for the kids.  He handed one to me and to his surprise I was able to blow it up.  Well, after 3 tries and help from him, I managed to make a sword.  That was enough to get me thinking, so I started hunting down books and talking to clowns whenever I could.

One year I had an idea for a Piņata, the only problem was with 60 children taking turns swinging a bat gets a bit dangerous.  So, I designed my own Piņata a bit safer, bigger and a strong enough to hold 10 to 14 pounds of candy.

Beaded Jewelry?  How? Why?  Walking through a Native American Celebration I became interested in how the jewelry was constructed.  So, I started with a basic kit and then added a book or two.  With each passing year I added some of my own ideas and style to different type of jewelry.  One of the key things I have learned is avoid plastics where ever possible.  Most of what I make is glass, metal, and stone.

I was involved with video games from the first pong game that was introduced.  I've played so many video games it's hard to keep track.  There is not on particular type of video game I like.  I go in phases from Role Playing, Racing, Shooting, Puzzle, etc.  My overall favorite are the Role Playing games.  It's a great challenge to complete each level and continue on to more difficult levels.

One of my greatest hobbies is computers.  I work with all aspects of computers.  I'm into picture editing, video editing, web-design, etc.

Some other hobbies I have done over the years are Molding Chocolate, Model Building, Painting, Face Painting, just to list a few.
